This diskette contains separate files for the Agreement and the Covenant, and for the exhibits to each. A table of these two documents and their exhibits is also included, entitled "CONTENTS". The numbered exhibits belong to the Agreement, and the alphabetic exhibits belong to the Covenant. Only the text exhibits are included; there are no graphic images of maps on this disk. Both documents (but not necessarily the exhibits) are intended to have identical pagination and word placement with the originals. If you find any errors that I missed, please call me at 548-4824.
The Recorder's Stamp was not reproduced on this version of the covenant. It was recorded on May 12, 1983 at 9:57 a.m., as document # 083234 of the Official Records of Alameda County.
I have found a diskette version of these documents to be very handy when searching for a specific provision; a computer word-search is much faster than leafing through the pages, looking for some provision.
Technical note: The documents on this diskette were scanned from photocopies of the originals, using an HP ScanJet 4s. They were converted into text using Caere's OmniPage LITE OCR software, supplied with PaperPort by Visioneer. Scanning errors caused by a weak original were corrected in WordPerfect 5.1 (a DOS version).
