Combine two Operating Rooms (ORs) into one OR (pending)*
Combining two existing operating rooms into one OR will ensure a safer, more
functional space that can better accommodate required staff and equipment. the
two existing rooms are too small to permit proper clinical use.
Relocate Skilled Nursing Facility (SS960793-01)**
Relocate and downsize existing 30-bed Skilled Nursing Facility on 4 Northwest to
a 25-bed unit on 6 Southwest and eliminate the 22-bed respiratory care unit in this
existing sixth-floor location. This results in a net reduction of 27 beds.
Remodel Oncology Unit (SS970411-01)
A two-phase *** project in an existing unit downsizes the current 24-bed unit to a
23-bed unit in order to improve support areas, and replace nursing station. This
project also permits relocation of the Special Care Nursery to 4 Northwest from
3 Southwest.
Special Care Nursery Relocation (SS960915-01)
Relocation of the 37-bassinet Special Care Nursery on 3 Southwest to 54 bassinnets
on 4 Northwest. The project includes a new "developmental" neonatal intensive care
nursery that reduces noise and other negative stimuli which, in turn, reduces
length of stay and improves outcomes for sick or premature infants.
Remodel Vacated Special Care Nursery (pending)
This existing patient area will be remodeled when the Special Care Nursery moves
to 4 Northwest. The project includes three birthing rooms, seven postpartum beds,
a relocated recovery room, and an expanded triage area.
